I’m
facing an issue on one of our ABB IRC5 robots where the system cannot be started due to a Run Chain Conflict.
System Symptoms:
- The EN1 LED keeps blinking, while all other LEDs are solid.
- On the I/O > Safety Signals page, the signals CH1, ENABLE1, and ENABLE2_1 are constantly switching between 0 and 1.
We’re not sure if this is related to:
- The I/O board,
- An RS communication issue, or
- A fault in the internal safety relay.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior?
Any suggestions on what else we should check before moving forward with replacing the contactors or internal boards?
